Ava's 3rd B-day and our SeaWorld Adventure!

Early this week Cory and I went to Austin to celebrate our niece's (Ava) 3rd birthday. We had so much fun and I was excited because Cory actually had days off at that time, which is very rare anytime there is a family function or what not. His nieces were very happy that he could make it too and enjoy climbing all over him and playing hide and seek! I, of course, made the cake (that is my job for all their birthdays), which was the Backyardigans theme at the Sprinkler Park....I LOVE THEM! This is the only kids cartoon I actually like to watch...hehe.

I wish they had sprinkler parks when I was growing up! The kids had a blast running around jumping through water. I was tempted to join them but I didn't wear my bathing suit...bummer!

On Wed. we all went to SeaWorld, which was so much fun! I love all the shows and watching the girls faces when the dolphins, sealion, whales, etc. come out and do tricks. When I am with them and when I see their faces light up, I know that life is good! It was a long, hot day but we all brought our swim suits and took a dip in the lazy river. Ashlyn and Ava really enjoyed the rides and another sprinkler park. I was really looking forward to eating all the park junk foods like funnel cake, turkey legs, cotton candy, etc. but it was so hot that I passed on it...next time! Unfortunately we did have lunch and dinner there and I will give ya'll a little advice....DON'T DO IT!! The food was terrible AND expensive, which didn't help the horrible taste. My sister must have gotten food poisoning too because she was in bed the whole next day.
