A celebration!

This past weekend our good friends had something to celebrate! Aroldo graduated with a Physics degree (yeah, there are people out there that LOVE physics...more power to them!). I was so happy to attend the ceremony and of course the party afterwards. We just love Sole, Aroldo (dork), Brandon and Mia. Cory and I couldn't be happier for them!

The graduation part is always a bit boring but we spiced things up when we all went back to the Garza's and partied all night! Unfortunately Cory had to work and missed out on all the action but we all wished he could have been with us to help drink the beer..hehe. I am so happy to be back in College Station with all my wonderful friends and this night made it more clear just how lucky we are to have them in our lives! Actually, I would call them more like part of our family instead of just good friends.

The night was full of food, beer, dancing, and being silly (especially Brandon, Mia and myself). These two are so cute and fun to be with! Being with them makes me miss my two nieces (who are about the same age) greatly. I am still planning on setting up Ashlyn (my oldest niece) with Brandon. They would make a cute couple, plus I know Brandon has wonderful parents! I know that when it comes to dating, I will definitely be an over-protective Aunt!

One thing that I missed terribly when we moved away was the dancing. Sole actually was the one who taught me how to Salsa dance while we worked at the bakery together. Those were good times! We would turn up the music and dance all over the place while we spent long Friday nights decorating wedding cakes for the weekend. It got us through the work and we had a blast at the same time! Ever since, I have been addicted to Salsa and Merengue and can't help but shake-it when I hear the music. It had been a while since Sole and Aroldo went out dancing, so it was great to see them together having fun and letting loose.

Here are some more party pictures...

Alex & another Tamara(very weird for me...of course she spells it wrong...) hehe

Being goofy doing the Carlton..well, at least 3 of us are (nice moves Aroldo!)
