Long time no Blog and The Astros!!!

Wow, it has been a very long time since I last blogged! Sorry, it has been a crazy summer so far as some of you can probably relate. I hope that everyone is enjoying this lovely HOT Texas weather and I bet a lot of you are over summer and ready for Fall. :) Our poor grass is dying and my attempts at doing rain dances aren't helping. I only hope that this hurricane will bring us a couple inches! Other than doing rain dances everyday, I have been extremely busy training lately. I am starting to gain a loyal clientele, which seems to continue building everyday. On top of personal training, I have recently joined Junior League and am now a Big Sister to a wonderful little girl named Eve. I think that with all of this, I have my hands full! Cory is still busy working overtime with Halliburton, so some things never change. :)

Last weekend we had a very exciting trip to Houston! I had never been to a Major League baseball game even after all the years of playing softball and loving the game. We bought tickets to the Sat. game against the Mets and we WON!!! It was awesome...we were behind the whole time until the 9th inning when we tied....then we scored in the bottom of the 10th and took the game. A lot of people missed the best part by leaving early but I wasn't about to because I just knew they were going to pull through! I had such a wonderful time and was giddy at the site of the field. Cory made sure that he took pics for me (I am usually the photographer) so that I can blog about it. :) While we were in Houston we also went to the Galleria to shop, although both of us aren't shoppers (so you are probably wondering why we went huh?!?)....well, my favorite store is there called Bebe Sport, athletic clothes, which is the only "style" that I really have. We also love eating at The Cheesecake Factory, so that was a nice treat! Here are the pics:

Yes, I am a dork!

This beer cost $7.25! I enjoyed every sip!

My wonderful hubby! He made this experience for me even more memorable and special.

Minute Maid Stadium/Park

The All-American baseball park food tradition, minus the hotdog...Gross!

The Astros Won!!

Most women get excited about Louie Vuitton or Gucci bags, but this one does it for me!

Here are some other pictures from the 4th of July with my family. We all had a great time playing in the pool and just hanging out.
